Seattle is a city that is known worldwide for its music scene, but keep in mind, everyone started somewhere on their journey. Whether you're a musician, poet, comedian, or any other performing artist, or want to see what the city has to offer, there are plenty of spaces to go. In my experience, the open mic scene is very welcoming and accepting of newcomers. It's also a great space to try your hand at performing for the first time. Seattle, depending on where you come from, can be a big city with small-town vibes.
